Urban Deer
Helena has an urban deer problem. There are mule deer everywhere. The city came up with a plan to reduce the population, but the state wildlife agency won't implement it. So for now, the deer stay. It is crazy, but kinda nice. I won't try to plant a garden until I can get it fenced. Everyone has netting around everything.
These critters are in my back yard.

Our dog, Penny, was going nuts the other night. 3 deer were standing in the side yard next to the driveway. The deer chewed up most of garden this summer. They missed one small squash. We're eating that one for Thanksgiving.
