Off to College

The following photos are of Brian and his nearly bald head. Most of you know Brian from his long flowing blond hair. He came home from a rock concert with a shaved head, for which my immediate response was "where's the tatoo?"
He said the day was sooo hot that shaving his head seemed like a great idea, trading his hair for a wicked sunburn on his scalp. His whole head peeled a few days later.
Anyway, Brian is now off at college and has completed his first week at school. He auditioned and made it into the BW Gospel Choir which travels and represents the college and is getting envolved with the college radio station. He reports that so far classes are going well, and he is keeping up with his reading and homework. And he has made lots of friends, which explains why he is never in his room when I call.
The picture at the left is Brian in front
of the football stadium and in his dorm room the day we dropped him off. His hair had quadrupled by this time. Probably at least an 1/8" by now.
We look forward to visiting Brian, and measuring his hair, when we see him in October for parents weekend.
