NYC Marathon
Susan, your backpacking photos are GREAT! I love to backpack and I am jealous (in a good way)!Hannah, Mother said she had a great time with you all over in Spokane. I am sorry I wasn't able to get over there. I had just returned from NYC and was exhausted!
The New York City Marathon was FUN, FUN, FUN!! I ran my fastest time, the crowd was amazing, the weather was cool and sunny and it was NYC! (That's me with the black tights just before the finish line!)

Beautiful Fall Hike
Here's a few pics of our Sunday afternoon hike, on yet another gorgious fall day in western New York. This one is about a 5 mile chunk of the East Overland Trail. This sign is right off the parking lot. Doesn't it make you want to just jump right in and start hiking?

beautiful,
with the sun filtering through the trees, the scent of fall, and the brook babbling (babble, babble, babble...)
